Folklórny súbor tradičnej hudby a tanca MEGDAN z mesta Bogdanci v Severnom Macedónsku vznikol v roku 2012. Jeho cieľom je uchovávať a ukazovať ľudové tance, piesne, hudbu a kroje z Macedónska – a to všetko svojským umeleckým štýlom.
Za posledné roky dosiahol súbor MEGDAN veľké úspechy v oblasti ľudovej tvorby a zúčastnil sa na množstve festivalov doma aj v zahraničí, vďaka čomu si získal rešpekt a uznanie aj vo svete.
Folklórny súbor sa zameriava najmä na tradičné tance a piesne z juhovýchodného regiónu Vardaru – BOJMIJA, ale venuje sa aj folklóru z iných častí krajiny.
Folklore ensemble of traditional music and dance ”MEGDAN” from Bogdanci, Republic of Macedonia was founded in 2012. With its goal - cultivation and presentation of the folk dances, songs, music and costumes from Macedonia, in a unique artistic way. In the past years, the Folklore ensemble of traditional music and dance ”MEGDAN” achieved remarkable results and successes in folk creation and being active participant of many festivals in the country and abroad got its high reputation and world affirmation .
We are studying traditional dances and songs from the south-vardar region in the Republic of Macedonia – BOJMIJA, but also from other parts of the country.
